FAQ

What do I wear?
Think yoga pants! You want to wear form fitting clothing that is easy to move in and that covers your skin. Personally, I like to cover my knees, tummy, and under arms, so I usually wear high waisted pants and a long sleeve, or a leotard and tights. No zippers please.

Do i need to work out first?
Nope. Circus IS the workout! So, whatever shape you are in, there will be things to work on. Cross training is always beneficial, but bulkng up before you ever start circus training is not.

What should I eat before class?
You know your body better than I do! What foods make you feel slow, heavy, and sleepy? Don’t eat that. What foods give you a tummy ache or excess gas? Don’t eat that either. Eat food that fuels you without weighing you down.

What lesson do i choose?
If you are new, start with one hour on fabric. I like to start beginners on fabric because it builds strength the fastest. But, once you can get upside down without assistance, the world is your oyster. Flexibility is beneficial at all levels.

What is the address?
My studio is also my home, so I don’t give out the address until after payment for safety. But to give you an idea, I am near the New Seasons on NE 33rd Ave. in Portland, OR.
I’m happy to give you a tour! Send me an email.

Do you have an age requirement?
